The SUUS Book Group will be meeting on Wednesday, March 16 at 3pm at SUUS in the Fellowship Hall to discuss Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Hope to see you there!

We will be discussing Someone Knows My Name by Lawrence Hill.  The book is available at the Guilford Library, and the Zoom link is on the SUUS calendar. Some members have expressed interest in forming a woman’s group at SUUS. The SEA Committee will facilitate the formation of this group beginning with an information sharing session on Thursday, February 17 at 7:00 via Zoom. Points to be discussed include frequency, time and location of meetings, leadership, meeting format, and other ideas and interests.

We’d like to resume offering listening circles starting in mid-January. Listening Circles are lay-led structured small groups that meet weekly for six consecutive weeks to reflect on and discuss various topics.   A multiplatform format is possible. Participants could meet in person at church and include others on Zoom simultaneously.    We’d love to get an idea

There is a live, in-person program on December 12 at 4pm in the Sanctuary at SUUS. Jennifer Munro will be performing Dicken’s, A Christmas Carol. The performance will begin at 4:00 p.m and lasts approximately 75 minutes. It is suitable for adults and children over 12. Attendees must be fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized vaccine
