Dear SUUS Families,
Last weekend was amazing! Thank you to Karis Lagasse for hosting the first Faith Formation MOMs Group and to all the Moms who gathered! And, thank you to all who joined me for the “Blessing of the Animals!” It was a wonderful weekend of celebrating the theme of “commitment.” MOMs committed to one another through fellowship and community, and we committed to give our continued love and affection to our beloved animals. As always, you filled my heart with love and kindness, and I went into the week feeling lighter and happier. I hope you, too, were filled with love.
This Sunday after the service, we will powwow on ZOOM for some more FUN & GAMES! This time, Laura Martino will lead us through a game of Quizlet! Check your email tomorrow for the Zoom link and more details.
“Now Let Us Sing!” Who’s up for some singing for the Easter service?! I am looking for some voices to help me with our Virtual Easter Anthem. All children, youth and families are welcome to join! No experience required. I will send you practice tracks, and you can record from home so no one will even hear you (except when I put it all together for the virtual choir of course)! Join Sunday’s Zoom to learn more. I will meet with anyone interested in singing right this Sunday right after the Family Chapel & Quizlet to introduce the song and answer any questions you might have. Community singing is a great example of “Commitment!” Will you commit to this project?

Amistad Catholic Worker House Food Drive
The food drive CONTINUES for our neighbors at Amistad Catholic Worker House in East Haven, CT where Luz Catarineau and her husband Mark Colville have been feeding the homeless since 1994. Now more than ever they need our help, and even in a global pandemic they continue to provide breakfast and lunch to those in need. Please review the list below and if you are able, kindly deliver your items to the covered bins at the top outdoor stairs at SUUS.
