In January, we will share our plate with Operation Fuel, the country’s oldest fuel fund, whose primary purpose is to provide year-round emergency energy assistance to every city and town in Connecticut.
Operation Fuel is the primary source of energy and utilities assistance for low to moderate income households who are struggling financially and have exhausted other options. To date, Operation Fuel has assisted almost 19,000 households in Connecticut and provided more than $2.4 million in energy assistance. Nobody should worry about keeping the lights on and the house warm!
